Man fatally shot on Howard Avenue
Police are investigating a homicide in Metairie Thursday night.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the 1200 block of Howard Avenue near Providence Memorial Park shortly before 9 p.m.
They arrived to find a man wounded in the street with two shell casings on the ground nearby.
The victim was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No other details were made available.
