Édgar Zambrano denuncia que agentes del Servicio de Inteligencia lo arrestaron de manera forzosa
Funcionarios del Servicio de Inteligencia detuvieron este miércoles al primer vicepresidente del Parlamento, Édgar Zambrano, a quien le fue levantada la inmunidad parlamentaria por la oficialista Asamblea Nacional Constituyente (ANC) luego de haber apoyado el fallido alzamiento militar contra el Gobierno de Maduro.
«Fuimos sorprendidos por el SEBIN (Servicio de Inteligencia), al negarnos a salir de nuestro vehículo; utilizaron una grúa para trasladarnos de manera forzosa directamente al Helicoide (sede del organismo)», dijo el propio Zambrano en Twitter.
Minutos antes, el diputado, militante del partido Acción Democrática (AD), había alertado que se encontraba en su vehículo y que estaba rodeado por funcionarios del Servicio de Inteligencia.
A la detención reaccionaron decenas de vecinos que en las calles gritaron «libertad» y coreaban el himno de AD, pues la detención ocurrió cerca de la sede del partido.
El jefe del Parlamento, Juan Guaidó, reconocido como presidente interino por más de cincuenta países, ya ha reaccionado ante la detención y la ha calificado de «secuestro».
A Zambrano le fue levantada la inmunidad parlamentaria el martes por la ANC, un foro no reconocido por la oposición ni varios gobiernos del mundo, por su presunta implicación en varios delitos relacionados con el fallido levantamiento militar de la semana pasada liderado por Guaidó.
La ANC también levantó la inmunidad de otros seis diputados que apoyaron el levantamiento, Luis Florido, Mariela Magallanes, Américo de Grazia, Richard Blanco y Simón Calzadilla; pero de momento no ha ocurrido la detención de ninguno de ellos.
Además, el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia (TSJ) solicitó hoy a este órgano revisar el fuero de los parlamentarios Sergio Vergara, Juan Andrés Mejía y Freddy Superlano.

Intelligence Service officials detained on Wednesday the first vice president of the Parliament, Edgar Zambrano, who was lifted parliamentary immunity by the ruling National Constituent Assembly (ANC) after having supported the failed military uprising against the Government of Maduro.
«We were surprised by the SEBIN (Intelligence Service), by refusing to leave our vehicle, they used a crane to forcibly move us directly to the Helicoide (headquarters of the organization),» said Zambrano himself on Twitter.
Minutes before, the deputy, a member of the Democratic Action Party (AD), had warned that he was in his vehicle and that he was surrounded by officials of the Intelligence Service.
To the arrest reacted dozens of neighbors in the streets shouted «freedom» and chanted the anthem of AD, because the arrest occurred near the headquarters of the party.
The head of Parliament, Juan Guaidó, recognized as interim president by more than fifty countries, has already reacted to the arrest and has described it as «kidnapping».
Zambrano’s parliamentary immunity was lifted on Tuesday by the ANC, a forum not recognized by the opposition or by several governments of the world, for his alleged involvement in several crimes related to the failed military uprising last week led by Guaidó.
The ANC also lifted the immunity of six other deputies who supported the uprising, Luis Florido, Mariela Magallanes, Américo de Grazia, Richard Blanco and Simón Calzadilla; but at the moment the arrest of none of them has not happened.
In addition, the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) today requested this body to review the jurisdiction of parliamentarians Sergio Vergara, Juan Andrés Mejía and Freddy Superlano.
