The excess of worries, stress, stimulating drinks or variable schedules are some of the most frequent issues that influence the fact that, at night, it is difficult for us to get to sleep.
However, in this article we review some less known reasons that also condition the night’s rest and that will surprise you.

Electromagnetic pollution
There is a kind of pollution, invisible and silent, that has completely invaded our homes and every cell of our body. It is the pollution generated by all the electromagnetic devices that surround us. Even if we decided to eliminate them completely from our routine, we would also be affected by those of our neighbors.
All the devices we use every day (computers, televisions, laptops, mobile phones, Wi-Fi networks, radios, sockets, etc.) emit electromagnetic waves that affect our nervous system to a greater or lesser extent, but in a constant way.
Our advice is, at least, to avoid them in the bedroom and disconnect during the night all those that are not essential. On the other hand, we will avoid having plugs near the head.
The room
You lie down, you turn off the light, you close your eyes and it seems that the place where you are is indifferent, but it is not like that. The room in which you sleep conditions, and very much, your nocturnal rest.
The order, cleanliness, smell, ventilation, colors or design are fundamental issues that affect our daily life and that can influence insomnia. In fact, Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese philosophy that is based on the conscious and harmonious design of spaces (housing, work, etc.) to have a positive influence on the people who occupy them.

Starting from this base we provide you with some simple tips:
• Avoid aggressive colors in the room, such as red or black, and opt for relaxing ones, such as white, green, blue, light yellow or violet.
• Ventilate the room daily and keep it tidy and without too many objects in sight.
• Aromatizes the bedroom with relaxing natural products, based on lavender or citrus.
• Avoid that the bedroom contains elements that remind you of work or other issues that cause you worries.
• Incorporates a plant that purifies and renews the air, such as potus.
