Jazz Fest returns in October 2021

Immediately following the move of French Quarter Fest to the fall, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has decided to do the same.

The two weekends of the festival follow the French Quarter Fest, which was officially rescheduled from September 30th to October 3rd.

French Quarter Fest organizers said their festival could be reduced a bit because of concerns about the coronavirus. It is not yet known to what extent the COVID-19 vaccine will be distributed by then.

This also puts Jazz Fest and French Quarter Fest in the middle of hurricane season.
