Asesinato-suicidio bajo investigación en Metairie

Un hombre disparó y mató a una mujer en Metairie y luego se quitó la vida, anunció hoy la Oficina del Sheriff de la parroquia de Jefferson.

«Aproximadamente a las 11:00 am de esta mañana, se enviaron agentes a la cuadra 3000 de Beaulieu St. en referencia a un control de disposición», dijo el capitán Jason Rivarde, portavoz de la oficina del alguacil. «Al ingresar a la residencia, ubicaron en el interior a un hombre y una mujer fallecidos.

Parece que el hombre disparó y mató a la mujer antes de quitarse la vida».

Las identidades de los dos se retienen hasta que el forense pueda notificar a los familiares más cercanos.
Murder-suicide under investigation in Metairie

A man shot and killed a woman in Metairie and then took his own life, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office announced today.

«At approximately 11:00 am this morning, officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Beaulieu St. in reference to a disposition check,» said Captain Jason Rivarde, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office.

«Upon entering the residence, they located a deceased man and woman inside. It appears that the man shot and killed the woman before taking his own life.

The identities of the two are being withheld until the coroner can notify next of kin.
