There are a total of just over 34,000 cases in the state.

Orleans and Jefferson Parish continue to lead the state in the number of cases.

Overall, parishes report 79 newly reported infections and a total of nearly 14,000 confirmed cases.

The good news is that the spread of the virus continues to decline dramatically.
