Describiendo su visita a un hospital en Caracas, indicó que los pacientes hospitalizados, «muchos de los cuales ya están gravemente enfermos, corren un alto riesgo de perder la vida a causa de las nuevas infecciones que están adquiriendo mientras están en el hospital, ya que no es posible realizar una limpieza y desinfección básica».
