El presidente celebra el éxito de la campaña «No más Trump», en el cuarto día de recolección de firmas en contra de las sanciones estadounidenses
Venezuela está lista para resistir y vencer al bloqueo impuesto por el gobierno del presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, aseguró hoy el mandatario venezolano Nicolás Maduro, en el cuarto día de recolección de firmas en contra de las sanciones de la administración estadunidense.
«Ratificamos al mundo que Venezuela está preparada para resistir, avanzar y vencer el bloqueo criminal del gobierno racista de Donald Trump», enfatizó Maduro en su cuenta de la red Twitter.
«Es una batalla por la Paz de la Patria y el futuro de nuestra irrenunciable independencia», subrayó en su tuit.
Trump firmó en fecha reciente una orden ejecutiva para congelar todos los bienes y activos de los venezolanos que se encuentren en Estados Unidos, acción que se suma a las medidas unilaterales que ha tomado el gobierno estadunidense desde 2015.
El sábado pasado, los venezolanos que respaldan a Maduro realizaron una manifestación en contra de esas medidas y el presidente sudamericano anunció el inicio de la campaña «No más Trump».
Esa campaña había recolectado hasta el martes un millón de firmas en rechazo a las medidas unilaterales del gobierno estadounidense, las cuales acompañarán un documento que se entregará a la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU), en rechazo a lo que consideran imposiciones de Trump.
«Llegamos a un millón de firmas del proceso nacional ‘No más Trump'», afirmó el mandatario el martes.

«We ratify the world that Venezuela is prepared to resist, advance and overcome the criminal blockade of the racist government of Donald Trump,» Maduro emphasized in his Twitter network account.
«It is a battle for the peace of the Fatherland and the future of our inalienable independence,» he stressed in his tweet.
Trump recently signed an executive order to freeze all assets and assets of Venezuelans in the United States, an action that adds to the unilateral measures taken by the US government since 2015.
Last Saturday, Venezuelans who support Maduro committed a demonstration against those measures and the South American president announced the start of the «No more Trump» campaign.
That campaign had collected until Tuesday a million signatures in rejection of the unilateral measures of the US government, which accompany a document that will be delivered to the United Nations (UN), in rejection of what he considers Trump impositions.
«We reached one million signatures of the national process ‘No more Trump,'» the president said Tuesday.
