Are you looking for a ticket for the saints? Attorney General warns of scams

Attorney General Jeff Landry warns New Orleans Saints fans to be careful when they try to buy tickets to the NFC Championship game on Sunday.

The Republican of Louisiana published tips for the Superdome ticket on Wednesday.

Landry suggests that ticket buyers should be wary of prices that seem too good to be true, as if someone were offering a ticket for a lower face value. He recommends staying with known ticket brokers and avoiding sites like Craigslist, where it is likely that the ticket can not be verified.

The attorney general urges to verify if the ticket vendor belongs to the National Association of Ticket Agents or has a warranty policy.

And he cautions against posting photo of tickets on social media before reaching the game, saying that resellers can steal barcodes from photos and create counterfeit tickets.
